In the position of Salesforce Developer II, you will work closely with Product Managers and Agile Business Analysts to ensure the timely and effective delivery of Salesforce requirements. You will work both individually and as part of a team to manage all aspects of Salesforce.com (SFDC) including configuration, customization, and implementation of applications and 3rd party integrations. You will use tools such as Visualforce, APEX programming, and Force.com APIs to build robust integrations. This person will report to the Software Development Manager.

Job Requirements

? Responsible for the technical aspects of one or more components of the Salesforce platform
? Design, develop, test, document, and deploy high quality business solutions on the SFDC platform based on industry best practices as well as business needs
? Provide maintenance, enhancements, and bug fixes to existing system functionality
? Implement App Exchange platforms
? Contribute to routine product builds
? Ability to support Salesforce.com configuration tasks such as field/page updates, workflows, automated approvals
? Communicate and collaborate with other technical resources and stakeholders regarding status, technical issues, and creative solutions
? Create dashboards, views, reports, forms, templates, page layouts, workflows, custom objects, object relationships, and custom fields
? Monitor Salesforce.com usage for compliance
? Monitor Help Desk ticketing system and e-mail for incoming tickets and updates to existing tickets ? Regularly audit data to uncover data integrity issues and/or opportunities for process improvement
? Research and keep current on force.com technologies and communicate trends and future needs from a business perspective
? Adhere to and improve coding standards and development guidelines
? Adhere to and improve the software development lifecycle
? Additional projects as requested and assigned


? Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent technical degree
? Salesforce Developer certification is highly preferred
? A fundamental understanding of the full life cycle of software development
? Familiarity with Visualforce, APEX programming, Force.com APIs, and Web Services
? Experience with database software, with a preference to SQL Server
? Analysis, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills
? Excellent written and verbal communications skills
? Accustomed to working with the Microsoft development environment, including Visual Studio (Team Foundation Server experience is a plus)
? Ability to work effectively with others in a collaborative team environment
? Ability to manage work assignments to meet deadlines under an aggressive schedule
? Well organized and detail oriented
