39 seeks a software engineer to help develop, launch and maintain several applications. The ideal candidate is creative and quality-driven with a strong work ethic and a passion for mobile development. You have developed several iOS apps and possess the ability to pick up tools and technologies and apply them quickly to the product development effort. Responsibilities:
Conduct research, develop and present enhancement solutions and ideas, develop proof of concepts
Participate in Lean development methodologies
Assist in publishing finished application to App Store for release
Develop fixes and troubleshoot as needed
Perform Unit / QA testing
Skills & Qualifications:
1+ year of iOS Developer (iPhone/iPad)
Familiarity with Apple Store and release management
Familiarity with Objective C, Cocoa framework, ASI Request, and other libraries
Solid experience with version control (we use GitHub) and bug tracking
Knowledge of conversational and written English
Must have a working knowledge of HTTP, Javascript, and REST APIs.
Complete understanding of Cocoa programing methodologies and memory management
An understanding of block and/or multi-threaded based programing concepts
Ability and desire to deliver high-quality results on aggressive timelines in a startup environment
Nice-to-Haves:
Agile and Lean development methodologies
Android or Ruby experience is a major bonus
